NaPoMo, Day 11: Delight in Disorder

herrick - delight_0002

Today’s artistically-adapted poem is “Delight in Disorder” by Robert Herrick. I’d intended the background as a sort of messy collage when I started– to go with the theme of the poem– but then it became a flag, and ultimately ended up looking like a landscape. How did that happen?

I still had fun making it, and I hope that whoever finds it will appreciate deviance from theme as a form of “Disorder” ๐Ÿ˜‰ More poems to come!

  1. Wow! This is one fantastic poem.

And, I think I’m going to use the title as part of the title for my spiritual memoir – “Delight in Disorder: Meditations from a Bipolar Mind”.

Now, all I have to do is finish it.

    • Oooh! I’m intrigued! That’s definitely a title that would make me pick up the book off the shelf. All the best with your progress on it, and keep us bloggers posted! ๐Ÿ™‚
